Design Thinking Certifications

We have partnered with University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon to bring to life our Design Thinking Certification program for teachers.  There are three levels of certification:

• Explorer: At this level, teachers explore the rapidly growing world of Design Thinking in education and develop a capstone project in which they infuse a unit or lesson of their core classroom instruction with Design Thinking.

• Creator: At this level, teachers start to build new curriculum and classroom experiences that draw on the complete Design Thinking toolkit.  A school plan for broad adoption of Design Thinking is created and graduates mentor the Explorer teachers.

• Fellows: Graduates of the Explorer and Creator levels can join a cohort of teachers that spend a year advancing their own Design Thinking teaching practice and become leaders in our program.
